I launched Toni Thornton Art on Instagram in 2017 after studying Art through Leeds Arts University and the University of Huddersfield and I am also a qualified teacher of Art and Textiles. In a world of growing social media and home accounts, Instagram quickly became the perfect platform to showcase my designs. I was initially asked to create a series of bespoke pieces for a new home project and since then I have been privileged enough to produce Artwork for home and interior spaces and projects all over the world; including here in England, America, Amsterdam, Canada, Germany, Spain and more. I am so excited to continue growing collectors all over the world.
Each piece of artwork you will see on the website has been lovingly designed and created to add elegance, drama, decoration and interest to any space. With roots stemming from mark making, textiles and surface pattern, my artwork offers abstract layers and unique compositions, each with depth and an abstraction which allows the painting to be perceived differently by every viewer.
This website allows you to shop the latest collection of original paintings, transferred into high quality Giclee canvas prints in a range of colour palettes and framing options to suit your style and space. All of the prints you’ll find on the website are of limited edition and only 100 of each painting will be produced. These will be hand signed and numbered once purchased.
Buying artwork can be daunting, however I am hopeful that with my range of prints, there’s artwork to suit many spaces. Artwork can add that finishing touch to bring the interior décor together. If the prints available here aren’t perfect for you, you could contact me to tailor one of the prints to your specific needs, or to commission a bespoke piece of art unique to you; there’s more examples of bespoke works on my Instagram page too. If I can do anything to help, please just get in touch.
Thank you so much for shopping Toni Thornton Art,
“It is often said that Abstract Art can express an idea, a notion, or a feeling, where many other visual art styles cannot. Abstract Art can convey numerous meanings to different interpreters of the art and this is something that has always inspired me in the work that I create. Various starting points and concepts inspired the current collection; I closely follow interior trends and I enjoy painting artworks which can work in a range of such spaces. My paintings can be inspired by popular interior textures such as marble, stone and woven materials and the colour palettes used within the artworks are often neutral and timeless. Alongside these pieces, within my current collection I have also created several paintings with statement colour schemes to suit popular interior designs.”
