This striking piece layers earthy tones of stone, beige, mocha and olive against built up white and deep black markings. The way that the marks are layered within the piece really create a feeling of depth and the inky black provides moments of pause within the composition. The name was derived from the outer white layers which look almost like they are being peeled back to showcase the richness of colours hiding beneath.
