This original painting is built from heavily laid textures, with strips of hessian fabric and layered papers creating a thick base for acrylic paint and palette knife markings. The detail and abstraction within the piece allows the viewer to interpret the marks in their own way, however the darker lines and earthy tones seem to pull the viewer in, to the perspective point. There is a perfect juxtaposition between the order of the acrylic marks and the organic flow of the charcoals. Layered whites, greige, coffee and coal tones allow for a peaceful moment of contemplation.

We deliver worldwide. UK shipping is free of charge and takes approximately 3-4 weeks from payment to delivery, this may be quicker if we have the piece in stock, especially with original pieces which are ready to leave the studio, or this may take slightly longer for the larger sized prints and is dependent on the current situation with delays in certain areas. We do ship artwork all over the world, although please speak with us at info@tonithorntonart.com before ordering from outside of the UK, as there may be additional/customs charges which we need to calculate for you.
