This beautifully detailed painting is comprised of sandy tones with white, taupe, pale brown and hints of a smoky sage green. Peering through the surface layers are hidden golden brass highlights which dance as the light creeps across the canvas, much like in the way the early morning sun hits the shoreline. The painting is layered with thick built up areas of paint and beautiful expressive marks. There is something to be seen at every glance.
