The whiter shapes within this piece are reminiscent of a waxing crescent, the sixth phase of the moon, Sei. The textures within the piece are comprised of greys, taupe, sand and smudged, linear black and charcoal grey strikes. This piece would add drama and energy into any space, but it could also evoke a feeling of calm too. The piece has many textures and some of the white within the piece is heavily built to add surface detail.
